Community Life
Here, you’re prepared for ministry not just in the classroom, but in community, by developing:
- Habits of study, prayer, reading, health, and fellowship alongside peers
- Fellowship through events, worship, groups, and service
(Distance-learning students don’t miss out—we provide these activities when you are on campus.) - Relationships in a close-knit environment. Your classmates and professors will be supporters, encouragers, and prayer warriors through your years of ministry service.
Our location on North Park University’s campus allows us unique resources and advantages.
Our Neighborhood
The Seminary is located in the North Park and Albany Park neighborhoods of Chicago—some of the most culturally and ethnically diverse streets in the city. Our learning community is enriched by having the world at our doorstep.

You will have many opportunities to get involved in community groups and committees that are developing events for your colleagues. Be a part of the Student Association and have your voice weigh in on a variety of topics and issues.
Campus Worship and Community/Global Service
There are several opportunities for weekly campus worship at North Park, including elements of different traditions and a variety of speakers and music.
Seminary students also have the chance to serve in University Ministries as interns, small group mentors, athletic chaplains, service site leaders, and mission trip advisors.
